  • Have a Lean Canvas prepared
  • Willing to start talking to potential customers
  • Need a framework for measuring the demand for your product
  • Already have a product but have not discovered a market for your product or service and looking to circle back and test market segments

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Building on your business model, Discover & Validate aims to help you learn about customer discovery—where they are, what they need, and how to validate and build the confidence to move forward.

Over five weeks of two-hour sessions, either fully live online or fully in person depending on the cohort start date, you’ll receive hands-on support from experienced facilitators, meet like-minded problem solvers, and come away with customer discovery data.

OUTCOMES

  • Customer interviews to help determine next steps in what you’ll build
  • Clarity of customer segments, problems they have, and value they’re looking for in a product/service
  • Validation of a market for your solution
  • Understanding of the demand for your solution
  • Ready to start building your first solution (MVP)
  • Ready for Alberta Catalyzer: Engage or Build, Test & Learn Workshop Series

The early days of a startup are full of excitement and fear. The Discover and Validate series offered by Edmonton Unlimited led me to a new paradigm of thinking similar to Alice in Wonderland where every belief was turned upside down. This is a course that fundamentally dismantled my beliefs and reassembled them into an indisputable business canvas and value proposition. I was challenged out of my comfort zone and my energy was consistently supported by Allan and Gino’s authenticity and fantastic coaching. There’s no better way to start a new adventure than with a collective of like-minded individuals who are invested in my success. A 5-star recommendation to those considering Discover and Validate.
