WHAT YOU'LL DO

Embark on a comprehensive journey of entrepreneurial learning and skill development with our series of workshops tailored for founders and entrepreneurs on Tuesday nights, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, October 15 – November 18, 2024. Led by seasoned experts in their respective fields, each workshop offers invaluable insights and practical tools to navigate the complexities of startup development and innovation.

By attending four out of the six workshops, plus the Demo Roundtable, participants will receive a Badge of Completion.

Product Development with David Ferris

This workshop covers essential steps in MVP development, from problem identification to execution. Through this interactive session with hands-on activities, participants will gain insights into product management fundamentals, feedback loop utilization, and networking opportunities.

Delve into the intricacies of product vision and strategic planning with our comprehensive workshop tailored for founders, entrepreneurs, and product managers. A startup operating system (OS) is more than just a collection of tools or processes; it’s the lifeblood of a company. It’s the framework that guides decision-making, aligns teams, and ensures efficient execution. An operating system provides the backbone to manage rapid cycles of experimentation and growth, ensuring everyone is aligned with the company’s vision. As a startup scales, the complexity of operations grows exponentially. Without a well-defined OS, chaos can ensue, hindering growth and innovation.

Tailored for startups and early-stage ventures, this program offers funding, resources, and expertise to educate founders on the intricacies of IP, develop robust IP strategies, and implement effective protection measures. By participating in ElevateIP Alberta, founders will gain the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the complexities of IP management, empowering them to elevate their businesses and drive long-term success.

Immerse yourself in the transformative power of design thinking with our comprehensive workshop, guided by the principles of human-centered design. Through interactive sessions and hands-on activities, gain practical insights into each stage of the design thinking process, equipping you with the skills and mindset needed to drive impactful change and create products that address real-world needs.

Bring your MVPs or prototypes to the subsequent Demo Roundtable for peer and expert feedback, ensuring a continuous refinement process enriched by diverse perspectives by ultimately leading to the development of robust and innovative solutions.
