We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Programs Lead, Venture Groups & Pilots to help bring our
flagship programs to life. This role is an opportunity to support Edmonton’s Built World Tech sector,
working hands-on with startups, partners, and mentors to ensure programs run smoothly and deliver
measurable impact.

What you’ll do:

Program Operations

  • Plan and deliver Venture Hub programs, managing timelines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate communications between startups, mentors, partners, and internal teams.
  • Track performance against program KPIs and success metrics.
  • Provide operational support for events and activities.

Budget & Resources 

  • Manage program budgets and resource allocation across multiple projects.
  • Oversee contractor relationships and vendor partnerships.
  • Monitor spending and provide regular financial updates.
  • Ensure efficient scheduling and resource planning.

Stakeholder Management

  • Facilitate clear communication among program participants and partners.
  • Gather and apply feedback to improve program effectiveness.
  • Support mentor engagement and coordination.
  • Develop and refine operational processes and best practices.

In your first year you will…

  • Establish foundational systems and infrastructure for Venture Group development.
  • Coordinate three Collision events and Project Lab sprints, connecting startups with industry
    partners and mentors.
  • Contribute toward completing 10 pilot projects in 2026, showcasing program success
  • Implement project tracking systems and marketing materials for visibility and
    accountability.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Experience: 3–5 years in program or product management, ideally within innovation, startup, or
    entrepreneurship ecosystems.
  • Project Management: Strong ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and timelines.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication and coordination skills across diverse stakeholders.
  • Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with startup or entrepreneurship programs strongly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
