Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a Full-Time, Permanent Performance Reporting Lead to join our team at Edmonton Unlimited, reporting to the VP, Data & Infrastructure. In this role, you will manage grant reporting, ensure compliance with funding requirements, and provide data-driven insights. You’ll play a key role in optimizing data collection, analyzing performance metrics, and translating information into meaningful
reports for internal teams and external stakeholders. If you have a sharp eye for detail, expertise in government funding requirements, and a passion for leveraging data to drive decisions, we want to hear from you!
What We’re Looking For:
- Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for accuracy and ensure grant reports are submitted on time and in compliance with funding requirements. You stay ahead of evolving grant regulations and assist in preparing documentation for audits.
- Data-Driven Thinker: You love working with data, managing client records, and developing reporting tools. You’re always looking for ways to improve data collection and streamline reporting processes with dashboards and analytics tools.
- Strategic Collaborator: You thrive in a team environment, working closely with internal teams and funding agencies to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. You enjoy guiding teams on grant reporting best practices and providing leadership with key insights to drive decision making.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure Compliance & Reporting Excellence: Prepare and submit grant reports with precision, ensuring alignment with funding agency guidelines and assisting in audit preparations.
- Optimize Data Management & Reporting: Maintain databases, develop analytics tools, and enhance reporting processes to make data-driven insights more accessible and impactful.
- Drive Collaboration & Communication: Work with internal teams and external partners to maintain compliance, provide training on reporting best practices, and deliver insightful presentations to leadership.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in grant reporting, financial analysis, or grant administration.
- Grant Knowledge: A strong understanding of federal and provincial grant funding regulations.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel (pivot tables, functions, etc.), with experience in artificial intelligence software, workflow automation software, cloud-based database management systems, and collaborative no-code/low-code platforms.
- Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities to effectively manage and report on complex data.
- Communication Excellence: The ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
