We are seeking a Full-Time Receptionist to provide professional front-line and administrative support in a fast-paced, non-profit environment. The Receptionist plays a vital role in fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere at Edmonton Unlimited’s headquarters. This position is responsible for greeting and assisting visitors, managing a variety of office and building-related tasks, and serving as the first point of contact and friendly face of Edmonton Unlimited.

- Administrative Pro: You’re confident drafting reports, managing mail, meetings, supplies, and the occasional curveball with ease.
- Communication Champ: Whether answering calls, emails, or greeting guests, you bring professionalism, clarity, and care to every interaction.
- Tech-Savvy Coordinator: You’re confident using Google Workspace and familiar with tools like Asana, Skedda, and Slack.
What You’ll Do:
- Provides a welcoming to all visitors.
- Interacts courteously and efficiently with guests, addressing queries, offering directions, and information.
- Reports to the Facilities Coordinator, helping them in assigned administrative tasks and reports any issues within the facility. Performs any additional responsibilities that may arise.
- Provides assistance to the leadership team as required.
- Responsible for mail and packages, including the package log.
- Maintains a fully stocked kitchen. Upholds the cleanliness and orderliness of common areas, cafe, fridges, dishwasher, and kitchen.
- Ensures the stationary area is organized and well stocked for office needs.
- Monitor the “hello@” email and the office phone line distributes messages to the appropriate channels.
- Managing meeting room bookings using Skedda.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of related work experience providing customer support.
- Excels in an environment with flat organizational structure and strong team collaboration.
- Excellent attention to detail with interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Competency in Google Workspace essential. Competency in Asana, Skedda, and Slack preferred.
- Ability to maintain a high-level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Passion for innovation and entrepreneurship will be an asset.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings, as required.
