The evening will kick off with opening remarks from Janak Alford, Deputy Minister, Technology and Innovation, Government of Alberta, followed by a dynamic panel discussion moderated by Christiana Manzocco of Alberta Enterprise Corporation. The panel will feature members of MIT Reap Team Edmonton, including:
- Darren Fast (University of Alberta)
- Andrew MacIsaac (API)
- Charles Wong (CarePros)
- Kristina Milke (Sprout Fund)
- Paul Bakhmut (Government of Alberta)
Who should attend?
We’re focusing on five key stakeholder groups for this event: entrepreneurs, investors, corporate leaders, post-secondary educators, and government representatives. If you belong to one of these groups, we encourage you to attend.
After the panel, attendees will break into interactive focus groups to share insights on a variety of topics including: building and scaling companies, creating a stronger investment landscape, and strengthening engagement with the startup ecosystem—followed by networking. Your expertise is vital to shaping the future of Edmonton’s innovation community.
